Susan B. Anthony
Susan B. Anthony was born in Adams, Massachusetts on February 15, 1820. Susan was from a Quaker family and became a teacher, after fifteen years of teaching she became an active member in temperance. Temperance Movement is the movement to either put more moderation on alcohol or make it completely illegal. Susan B. Anthony was one of the creators of the Women's Loyal League after the president passed the amendment that black men could vote but women still could not. She also was a co-organizer of The National Woman Suffrage Association. Which was the organization that petitioned for Women's voting rights. Susan died on March 13, 1906 of pneumonia and heart failure.
